Butter Chicken

Serves 4
Prep time: 45 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

"This is a beautiful butter chicken with a lovely taste of spices."



  • 50g Butter
  • 1/2 tsp each Salt and Pepper
  • Black Pepper
  • 500g Diced Chicken
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 tsp Chilli Seasoning or Sweet Chilli Sauce (how ever much you want)

  1. Mix together all the spices (except garam masala) and toss through the chicken, let it rest in the fridge for 30minutes. Melt the butter in a sauté pan. Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft. Add the chicken. Stir until golden. Add the tomato paste, garam masala. Stir in the cream. Season and simmer for
  2. 5-8 minutes until rich and creamy.
