How Waka Kai deliveries work:
- Waka Kai will operate on an off-peak delivery schedule from 10 February 2020.
- Only morning delivery slots (9am-noon) are available on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays.
- All beaches still open for delivery.
- We’re now delivering to boats anchored at Hahei, Opito Bay, and Peach Grove and The Cove at Great Mercury Island! Please select either Hahei or Opito Bay as your delivery location and in the online shopping comments box, please write your boat name and preferred delivery anchor point. We’ll call you to confirm your location, get your GPS coordinates and confirm your delivery time.
- We now deliver to Tairua! Simply select Pauanui as your location and write in the online shopping notes section that you would like your order delivered to Tairua.
- Delivery windows are three hours because due to forces outside of our control, like the tides and unpredictable weather, we need to factor in extra time for the boat to get from the store to the beach.
We know you don’t want to be waiting around all day, so the night before your scheduled delivery, you will receive a call from a store staff member who will provide a precise delivery time for your delivery the next day. This allows us to look at the weather and conditions and determine how long it will take the boat to get to your beach.
