Curried rice salad

A wonderful way of using cooked rice, this simple recipe goes so well with hot or cold meals, and it’s especially good at barbecues.

Ingredients

Method

  • 1 1/2 Cups cooked rice
  • 1/4 Cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 Tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons salad oil
  • 1 Teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 Cup chopped celery
  • 2 Cups cooked green peas
  • 1 Cup salad dressing

  1. Mix cooked rice, onion, vinegar, salad oil and curry powder and refrigerate for 2 hours, then add celery, peas and salad dressing.
  2. Can be adjusted to suit your taste.
